It is one that Ying Ju, my father, started in China and, together with me – his daughter, Jiaming Ju – are continuing in the States. Traces of my father’s decades-long mastery of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and my expertise on aging data and economics can be found in all of Kun’s formulas, allowing us to develop high-quality, effective products.
Together, we help people keep walking the journey of life together with their loved ones, enabling us to preserve not only our heritage, but theirs as well.
We started KUN崑 to tell our family’s story

Jiaming Ju
I grew up watching my father work in his TCM clinic in north-eastern China where the smell of herbs drifted through the air. I would watch as people entrusted him with their health, and it’s a memory that stayed with me through the years.
The desire to understand the health and wellbeing of others never left me—so much so that in my mid-thirties, after building a career leading the world’s largest data collection on senior adults from New York to Singapore, I enrolled in one of the only dual lingual TCM graduate schools in North America.

Ying Ju
My father, Ying Ju, spent his youth learning from farmers in the countryside, discovering the use of traditional Chinese herbs. This deep-rooted fascination in Chinese herbs and its endless possibilities led him to study TCM at a prestigious university in China. Afterwards, he began working in a public TCM hospital and studied under some of the most illustrious TCM masters in China for over a decade.
Over time, my father was able to open his own clinic in China, and as his reputation grew, long queues of patients would wait outside his clinic daily. Today, with forty years of experience, he’s able to bring his meticulous approach to TCM here in the USA.
